Britains Dina Asher-Smith underlined her standing as preferred for the domain as she seamlessly qualified for Wednesdays final.
The 23-year-old world 100m silver medallist acquired her semi-final in 22.16 seconds – the fastest time of the afternoon.
Her hopes of being the first female to win a world sprint title increased with the withdrawal of winner Elaine Thompson.
The closing at the Khalifa Stadium of Doha starts at 20:35 BST.
Beth Dobbin and compatriots Jodie Williams didnt qualify for the closing.
Asher-Smiths time was a third of a second faster than the next fastest qualifier, the Brittany Brown of USA. American champion Anglerne Annelus also characterized by winning her semi-final in 22.49.

Grenadas Kirani James, who won the world title in 2011 and gold at London 2012, has been the fastest qualifier in 44.94 seconds. Fred Kerley and USAs Michael Norman, just two of the favourites having both operate beneath this season, are through.
Olympic and world champion and world record holder Wayde van Niekerk failed to recover from a knee injury in time for the Championships.
In the womens 400m, Emily Diamond and Britons Laviai Nielsen dropped out to a place in Thursdays closing. Olympic champion Miller-Uibo is the exceptional favourite and eased into the final.
Both Jessica Turner and bronze medallist Meghan Beesley qualified for Wednesdays 400m hurdles semi-finals. The pair finished third in their respective heats.
I have had two years now, Im feeling powerful now, Beesley told BBC Sport. I trust I can go out there tomorrow and step it up a bit.
Sydney McLaughlin along with USA pair Dalilah Muhammad improved. Olympic winner Muhammad, 29, is the hot favorite using set a new world record – 52.20 seconds – at the federal trials.
Zak Seddon finished seventh in his heat and missed out to a spot in Fridays closing.

The 22-year-old, second in the world standing behind the Nijel Amos of Botswana, kept his form to win his first title and started his bid from 300m outside.
Bosnian Amel Tuka asserted Kenyas Ferguson Rotich and also silver was still next.
Among those moments of these championships came in the heats for the 400m hurdles when Qatars Mariam Mamdouh Farid ended last in one minute 9.49 seconds – almost 12secs supporting the next put athlete, but at a personal best time.
